Job Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and manage Data Center facilities to ensure the availability and performance.
Supervise facility vendors and managed services partners in all support and maintenance activities.
Daily checklist to ensure working of all Data centers parameters including Temperature, Power, and Telecom
Ensure the Data Center is maintained at optimum temperature and humidity levels
Schedule preventive maintenance on time with all vendors and ensure its effectiveness (UPS, Generator, Electrical Monitoring System, Fire alarm Etc.)
Conduct assessment of operations risk and highlight them to the management and take risk- mitigation activities wherever possible.
Ensure Cable Management of all Racks is proper and tidy
Identify risks proactively and alerts management with possible rectification steps
Ensure that proper housekeeping is done within the Data Canters
Good understanding of Data center Tier level classification
Recommendation of new and emerging cabling and other infrastructure components, adding value to the overall infrastructure solutions
Recommend adoption of various solutions related to infrastructure facilities and data center like, CCTV, Access Control, AC, UPS and Generator etc.
